Can a technology company’s About Us page be written without buzzwords? Yes.
At Hillcrest Media Group, we are always interested in exploring ways we can work with companies that have products or services that are synergistic to ours. To us, synergy means that we build a relationship with another company that not only brings in revenue, but allows us to grow, prosper, and expand.
If your idea of a business partnership is just us reselling your services, please don’t e-mail us. That might be a portion of a partnership strategy, but if you don’t plan on doing for us what we’re doing for you, it’s a “no.”
Size Doesn’t Matter—Just Don’t Be the Status Quo
We don’t care how big you are—if you have good stuff, we want to work with you. Maybe you have some great online marketing service you run from your basement. If we think our authors and customers can benefit from it, we want to talk. If you’re an entrepreneurial person in a megacorporation, awesome. We don’t discriminate.
Many of our websites provide products and services to self-published authors and small publishing companies. We avoid giving them the same recycled stuff they can find everywhere else. We often take the George Costanza approach: we see what everyone else is doing and we do the exact opposite. We’ve doubled in size every year since 2007, so it might be working. So, if you have something that doesn’t fall into the “same old, same old” category, contact us. Talking never hurt anyone.
You Have to Be into Us to Be Our Partner
If you won’t allow us to use your company’s logo on a partnership page and you won’t display ours on your site, we’re not a good fit. We don’t do the Partnership Walk of Shame.
Oh, and in case you haven’t noticed, we aren’t conventional. We’re great at what we do and employ smart, talented people. Pretty much the 180-degree opposite of the movie Office Space.
